Meet and Greet Attendance
I don't like BWW,, it's too noisy and have been messed over about 4 or 5 times on my food, and the last time I was there with the club, I was not waited on except to bring me a drink at the beginning, no food, didn't even come back to ask if I wanted a refill on my drink..
So it doesn't make me want to go back there at all..Sorry folks..

I told you that I will go with you to look for a place and I came up with a few places in Melbourne. But seem like that you don't really care too much.

Meet and Greet Attendance
That a harsh thing to stay about me when you have no idea whats be going on and from someone that has only attended 5 of the 19 meet and great's we had this year.Rsoetidjo wrote:But seem like that you don't really care too much.
This should be a group effort and i am not going to do everything for everyone all the time. i am open to almost any place if others want to change it. Let's check out these places and let everyone know
I spend many hours a week supporting this club and for someone to say i don't care is a big deal. maybe i need to rethink how i spend my time.
Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
Not try to be mean. But that what I feel every time I talked to you about this stuff. And about the meeting, I try go as much I can go. I told you you that I can go to Tuesday meet because my kids have the swim practice. And before that , I'm upset because no body from the south would go to the longdoggers meets. But I went to bww more then a few times. Even Charles went there more then anyone from the south went to longdoggers meets. And he's from the northern group.

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
It's strange because we haven't really talked about it that much maybe once or twice and I'm the one who brings it up at the meetings but no one wants to do anything outside of that. You're the only one that wanted to do anything. But we definitely need more people involved
Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
You mention a few time about thinking to get a Melbourne location, so it's more central for everyone when we're hang out at longdoggers. Charles and I came up with a few ideas. I know that you're need help with stuff for the club. And we all willing to help you, that's why I told more then a few times that I'll go/ help you to find a place for the meet.

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
If might want to get on FB and look in the SCC Group page.
We got some discussions going on about new location.
I cant get everyone to come to forums. So like we got to duplicate everything here and there

Re:possible location
... Just a constructive thought here...albeit from someone who has never actually made it to a meet and greet due to distances and timing as mentioned above...
I think this is a centrally located, endlessly empty 300-500 large spaces, existing but fading attendance car show location with inexpensive digs (sub chain shop right there) that has never been considered....or has it?...or Perhaps its not as central as I think given the locations of various members.
80°37'29.14"W
28° 5'8.96"N :
If not, or its already been struck out..... might I suggest just switching it up more , and try and see which location yields the most consistent club activity.

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
Why give Cordiants rather then an actual address or name of said place? I've suggested BJs, or there is Red Robin now as well. Can always park in mall parking towards the back...PLENTY of people will see us there. Anyway just a suggestion.

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
I figured out where it is...
130-198 W Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901
Looks like a parking lot shared by Harris Corp, Jersey Mikes, Bennetts Auto Supply, and possibly some other companies.
I will say I have spotted a group gathering at Applebees once a month (not 100% sure on the day) but they take up the entire back row with Corvettes, Mustangs, and Camaros/Firebirds. No idea what club would have that sort of mix, but they have been there often enough to not be a coincidence.

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
Sorry to say there is already a cruise in at that location for couple of years now.
http://www.spacecoastcamaros.com/scc/vi ... f=15&t=729
I went to it a couple of times. But only like 1 -2 members from the club would ever go. and it didn't have that many people.
of a 1-10 rating i give it a 4 or 5 for something we need. got to keep on looking

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
To be honest the Avenue Viera is more central to Space coast.
Already has a event 1st Tuesday of the month and has a lot of things to do. to bad we cant piggy back on that.

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
The parking by outback is not bad. And we could go to any of the places.
Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
I know I haven't been to a lot of these, sorry but as it was pointed out there's a lot going on in everyone's life so we need to be understanding. I don't know if this place has been look at but what about the Five Guys in Viera that we go to the first week of the month? I know it would be closer for some of the people up in mid and north county locations. What say you?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
We where talking about that at last cruise. Would be a good for a Main meet. lots of parking and places to eat. Also little more central to Space Coast!fdw1521 wrote:I know I haven't been to a lot of these, sorry but as it was pointed out there's a lot going on in everyone's life so we need to be understanding. Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
whats nice is we can go anywhere to eat. depending on who shows up
Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
Yeah, I agree about all the place's to eat, that was what I was thinking when I suggested this location. So what is our next move? Can we get some more feed back for the other members and if most of us agree then we can meet with the powers to be and see if they will allow us to use the lot.

Re: Meet and Greet Attendance
I just talked to the longdoggers in West Melbourne. They would be happy to have us Tuesday nights and even block off spots for us.
I will bring this up at next BWW meeting and maybe we can move it there. its only about a 1 mile away from the current place and would no issues for current members that only go to that sub meet.
even if you dont like BWW please try to attend this last event so we can talk about it this Tuesday. 27
Thanks!
