i wanted to get the TCI StreetFighter Torque Converter For 6L80E Transmission

But got this as a responce
TCI converterse on the 6L80Es just have issues.. We tried a few of their prototype units to no success, so I steer clear of them.. The PATC brand is actually the guys that make most of the hard parts for the internal 6L80E aftermarket transmissions. I feel very comfortable with them and their converters are very tight for the street which is nice. I would go with a 2800 stall figuring on doing turbos possibly down the line I would want to prepare for them, so we can go 2800 but it will still be a beast NA until then.
So i dont know. anyone know anything about PATC?

Looks like it's all there, does this kit include the AFM/DOD delete ? I know they are 2 different kits, and stay away from the trunion upgrade, they have had MANY failures out there, our rocker setup is good for these cams.

I should have the AFM/DOD delete. its got all the parts to make it a full LS3. But i will check thanks!

for the cam we are thinking a 231/243 115 LSA. aggressive but has good drive-ability and will work nice with FI in future. going 115 LSA to make it better low and mid. Dont care much for the high peak( that is just to show off)

Wanted to get the night furry, but was told they are a good cam, but have some drive-ability qwerks in the 17-1800 range

But remember that my goal was a nasty n/a sounding cam, that makes good power and it FI friendly.

Should sound different on my Camaro with my default Borla touring exhaust and then when open headers :-)

Here is a 231/247 617/623 on a 114

The nightfury cam is a good cam to go with, the drivability issues will not be present if you have a stall of at least 3000 or more, I called and spoke with them about my car, also the TSP 231/236 cam is another good one out there that makes great power in the low to mid RPM ranges. I will be going with the 112 LSA and a 3600 Yank triple disc stall for that nasty lope...hehe..

Yep it's gonna be nice, but it's gonna have to wait now, had to replace my entire 20 year old AC system in the house.. Gotta have AC!!! Went 25 days with out it, not fun but good now..

Now that i am looking at the heads with all the rockers off. I asked them to install the BTR Rocker Arm Trunion Upgrade kit. No HP increase but will make the rockers stronger and he already has it in stock. good call for under $200

Cant believe I missed this.

New sound of Camaro at idle
This is normal Borla touring exhaust. Quietest mufflers that company makes for this car lol
I'll have another video of the open headers next time
