Whats your price range and does it have to be an IROC or would a Z28 do? Dont Forget in 1985/86/87, you could get either an IROC or a Z28, but in 88/89/90 the Z28 wasnt available, only the IROC. Also in 91 and 92, the IROC name was dropped, but the Z28 had all the same performance parts from the IROC, so the 91/92 Z28 was an IROC by all accounts other than name.

There are a few IROCs on craigslist in the area, and there was a really cheap 1992 Z28 that wouldnt start.

If you are looking at these or any other cars be sure to check the RPO code sheet in the center console. It has the VIN and all the option codes for that car. Occasionally the center consoles get swapped out, so be sure to verify the VIN on the sticker. Look for B4Z on cars between 1985 and 1987. Like I said before it was possible to have a Z28 in these years and it wasnt automatically an IROC, but you can NOT get an IROC without it being a Z28. 1988, 1989 and 1990, there were no Z28s so if it's not a Sport Coupe or RS, then it's automatically an IROC, no if's ands or buts about it.

Visit thridgen.org for more details if needed.
