what is this part called???

the black screw cap join it connects to a coolant hose.

look like a aftermarket bleeder valve. so you can bleed the system out. I don't have it on my car. you should have 2 bleeder screw, closer to the thermostat.

Your right. It looks like it was added after someone maybe bypassed the heater. I talked to spearous last night :-)

yea its a aftermarket kit so I can flush my coolant with a hose just got another one for 4 bucks to put it back on. im going to replace the heater coil so I can plug the two hoses back in.
