The ones I have on MY original 1 and only "Ruby" are from Emblempros.com and are mirrored stainless and have been on for 3 years..Good luck.

Sorry to hear you are having issues already, that sucks. I would take it back to your dealership and have it scanned, and have them check the fluid filter. I have a 2011 SS and the filter split due to a high fluid spike and there was a TSB out for this issue on those cars, maybe that is what is happ...
